Signed Peters, Kelce and Cooper to multi year contracts.
So far I'm really loving what the FO is doing right now.

I like all the deals. The way NFL contracts work really benefit the team.

Roseman scoring "loyalty" points across the league among agents and potential free agents.

Yea, like cooper coming back. He has great chemistry with Foles. Also like Kelce and Peters extensions....both are top notch linemen.

Hopefully we focus on the Defense in the draft. Pryor or Clinton-Dix would be phenomenal pickups but both might be gone by 22. I know Kelly loves the offense, but we really gotta beef up our D with athletic playmakers to compete with the seattles of the league. Hopefully we add a good safety, pass rusher and a playmaking LB.

If we can build a D that can get quick stops and turnovers....we're gonna be tough to beat. That's the key tho, our offense can be the fastest in the league and score a ton of points.....but when we can't stop offenses, it's irrelevant.

The WR position is pretty deep in this draft, wouldn't mind picking up and guy who can man the slot and make plays between Coop and Jax.

What exactly was his value? I don't see what was guaranteed (nothing reported) but $5mil per when guys like Mike Wallace make twice that amount? I don't see that being overpaid.

Isn't it kinda cool that we have the fastest paced basketball and football teams in both respective leagues? Regardless of our record :)

Phillies might join them for the fastest paced 1-2-3 innings on offense :D
...let's hope not though.

haha yes that could be pretty likely. especially considering there is a chance our pitching and defense might be okay, we could be going three for three. i don't really watch hockey so not sure about the flyers.

Cooper's values was always higher in Philly than anywhere else, he fits Chip's system perfectly. I was half asleep reading through twitter but I think we can get out of his deal after year two. As with most of the deals Howie and the Eagles do, the deals are extremely team friendly. Even with Cooper re-signing and maybe Maclin coming back I still think we need to target another receiver in the first couple of rounds of the draft.

On the brink of hitting the open market, Cooper has signed a deal worth, per a league source, up to $25 million over five years. A small amount of that total comes from escalators, so the base value is less than $25 million.

Of the amount, $10 million is guaranteed. Specifically, Cooper gets a $4 million signing bonus, $4 million in base salary guaranteed for skill, injury, and salary cap ($1 million is fully guaranteed in 2014 and $3 million is fully guaranteed in 2015). Of his total salary of $4 million in 2015, $1 million is guaranteed for injury only. Also, $1 million of his 2016 salary is currently guaranteed for injury only. The injury guarantees convert to a fully guaranteed amounts in March of 2015 and 2016, respectively.

The deal in a nutshell

I'm hoping Arelious benn has something left in him after all those injuries because a receiving core of Cooper, Jackson, Benn and Maclin could be pretty damn good. Not to mention this draft is deep with receivers which we can get in the 5th round focusing on defense in the first 4.

I love the moves we've been making in the past 2 years. Think about what we've done and you'll see how amazing it's been.

Resign:

Shady
Desean
Cooper
Maclin (probably)
Peters
Mathis
Kelce
Herremans
Trent Cole

That's how you win championships. Look at the teams that have own Super Bowls. Their core players are stalwarts. That is a huge part of it. Consistency.

We've also drafted in 2012/2013:

Cox (starting DE)
Kendrichs (starting LB)
Curry (1st DE of bench)
Foles (Pro Bowl QB)
Boykin (Slot Corner)
Bryce Brown (Backup RB)
Chris Polk (Backup RB)

Lane Johnson (Starting RT)
Zach Ertz (Starting TE this year)
Bennie Logan (Starting NT)
Earl Wolff (Starting Safety this year)

+ Signed Chip Kelly
PG: Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson
SG: Andre Roberson, Anthony Morrow, Jeremy Lamb
SF: Kevin Durant, KJ McDaniels, Perry Jones
PF: Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Robert Covington
Cc: Al Jefferson, Steven Adams, Kendrick Perkins, Mitch McGary

He's done. He wasn't even on the team during the season.

Good moves by the eagles...the Steelers need a good off-season so they don't take a big dip. Still close, but will need to fill some shoes soon.

Eagles have given themselves a nice 2-3 year window...solid moves.
