I thnk he is expendable. Teams can win without players like him.

I wouldn't say that just yet. The silence from Chip, Howie and Lurie has to mean something. If Jackson isn't getting traded why not just come out and say it.

Well the reports are that he has told his teammates and the Instagram posts he's made strongly suggest that

I think they have tried to quietly shop him. He is overpriced for what he is.

Sorry sixers23 I had heard that and didn't mean to sound rude at all. Only reports I'm trusting atm are the ones where the guys who run the team that haven't said whether or not DeSean is getting traded. The whole thing really doesn't make any sense at all.

So they couldn't even find a single trading partner-- at least, someone willing to give up a draft pick? And they preferred to cut him straight out. Wow. I loved him as a player. I'm hearing (as the rest of you probably are, too) that he has some kind of ongoing gang ties (Crips?), which the organization didn't like. I have no idea what to make of that.

I cant see anyway you can criticize the organization for doing something that they feel they had to do for the better of the team. how are you gonna act like you know better than them? you dont think they know he can play ball? they know hes good and they feel he isnt worth it

Just have to trust the organisation knows what its doing. For all the good Jackson did, he was still an inconsistent diva. Will be hard to replace him, but you'd have to think Chip knows what he's doing.

We're going to go hard at a WR in the draft now no doubt about it.

a new coach and GM didn't like the contract the former GM gave the player so as soon as he was about to get paid they cut him and floating gang rumors to avoid backlash from fans.

despicable

the facts are that in his 6 years in the league he was never arrested , never had off the field issues(contract issues are with all players in the NFL, that's just the way it is)

I hope the Jets sign him.

 So why didn't they make it up last offseason ? I guess they forced DeSean to use gang signs on the field and post pics on social media of him doing gang signs too.

I'd be on board, but even if we can't there should be multiple options available.

Chip loves big, physical guys. Kelvin Benjamin and Evans are both 6'5, physical receivers.

Evans has one of best hands though. I'm not too huge on Kelvin. Evans is a better athlete and has better hands. Better play maker imo too.
