Ernie Sims acquired
He could be a major impact player for us next year. If we only gave up a 5th in the deal, that's a huge bargain. It's worth noting that he has been a captain on the Lions so he brings some leadership to a team lacking.

Re: Ernie Sims acquired
Hes a good guy, he just doesn't fit our defense. He was better suited to Marinellis Tampa 2. He's undersized and can't tackle in our current system. He's a great pick up for a 5th though and should help your team out alot.

hopefully he can infuse the linebacking corps with some much-needed energy and playmaking.

Re: Ernie Sims acquired
This is a great trade Now we can focus on greater needs such as Safety and CB, or even DL and OL(depth). I hope the rumors about trading up for Berry are true, but I also hope we dont trade away our whole draft for him.

GREAT ACQUISITION!!! Definitely sures up the depth at linebacker position with MLB Stewart Bradley returning from the injury. I hope Ernie Sims and Akeem Jordan both start at opposite OLB positions. I'm not sold on Moise Fokou as a key contributor.

Re: Ernie Sims acquired
^^I think thats what we really need..Stewart Bradley that is..
If he can play at the same level as he did before he got injured...I think this is a top 10 d..but that is a big "if"
