2010 Schedule

Post#1 » by Reks » Thu Apr 22, 2010 7:04 am

Week 1: Packers at Eagles - Sunday 9/12 @ 4:15

Week 2: Eagles at Lions - Sunday 9/19 @ 1:00

Week 3: Eagles at Jaguars - Sunday 9/26 @ 4:05

Week 4: Redskins at Eagles - Sunday 10/3 @ 4:15

Week 5: Eagles at 49ers - Sunday 10/10 @ 8:20

Week 6: Falcons at Eagles Sunday 10/17 @ 1:00

Week 7: Eagles at Titans - Sunday 10/24 @ 1:00

Week 8: Bye

Week 9: Colts at Eagles - Sunday 11/7 @ 4:15

Week 10: Eagles at Redskins - Monday 11/15 @ 8:30

Week 11: Giants at Eagles - Sunday 11/21 @ 8:20

Week 12: Eagles at Bears - Sunday 11/28 @ 1:00

Week 13: Texans at Eagles - Thursday 12/2 @ 8:20

Week 14: Eagles at Cowboys - Sunday 12/12 @ 8:20

Week 15: Eagles at Giants - Sunday 12/19 @ 1:00

Week 16: Vikings at Eagles - Sunday 12/26 @ 1:00

Week 17: Cowboys at Eagles - Sunday 1/2 @ 1:00

It's hard to measure before the draft, but as of now with a new, inexperienced QB and a defensive backfield with more question marks than the Riddler; I can't see us winning more than 7 games.

The 2010 schedule seems brutal at the end. The Eagles will struggle at times this year but I hope they will show signs of progression so we will be able to compete in 2011 and beyond.

Week 9 is an automatic loss for the Eagles. Peyton has always owned the Eagles and I don't expect this year to be any different.

Just looking at the schedule it looks like a 11-5 season but then I have to factor in the typical bengals/raiders game of the year that we will lose to a horrible team. That run until the bye looks really good though for us.

The schedule gets pretty brutal week 9 until the end and I think we'll be 4-3 through the first seven, 5-2 at absolute best.
I'm expecting a 6 to 8 win season, I'll split the difference...

Just out of curiousity what teams on the schedule do you think are better than us? I know we will do a typical eagles collapse against a team we are much better than but let me take another look and count the teams I think are flat out better than us.

Packers = Eagles L

Eagles > Lions W

Eagles > Jaguars W

Redskins < Eagles W

Eagles > 49ers W

Falcons = Eagles W

Eagles > Titans W

Week 8: Bye

Colts > Eagles L

Eagles > Redskins W

Giants < Eagles L

Eagles > Bears W

Texans < Eagles W

Eagles < Cowboys L

Eagles > Giants W

Vikings > Eagles L

Cowboys > Eagles W

Now looking back on it I think this would be pretty accurate with a dropped game against an inferior team like the Jags, Texans, or Bears. So I'm gonna go with 10-6.

I just don't see it, but it's certainly possible.
Kolb would have to set the world on fire, McCoy would have to be really solid and the defense would have to stop giving up big plays thrice a game though.

I'm still thinking similar to my original prediction. I'll say 7 to 9 games is likely and once again, I'll split the difference. I'm going 8 wins.

i see it as a good thing (injuries are never good) but hopefully this will allow vick to start, the guy still got it, he was making packers look silly with those runs. Please please please start next game

Well Vick is starting this week, we'll see how it goes, but we should run Detroit over.

I don't know if it's me but I feel like our defense is a lot better than the points allowed suggest.

I still want Kolb to start. From the moment we got Vick I think our intention was to have him prove he is still somewhat close to the old Vick and have an extra trade chip. So far that seems to be going according to plan, Kolb is the long term plan and Vick won't bring this team a superbowl.

Vick has been named as starting QB for the season.
Surely that's a goof thing though, one year too early for Kolb

rough loss...and the conditions of vick and mccoy's ribs may make it a costly one...
