I FOR ONE..
am not worried. We'll still win the division. I wasnt worried when our lead was 2.5 a few weeks ago, when Maine was struggling heavily. I not worried now, especially with pedro coming back into our rotation.
this division is still ours. I'm not going to take temperature reads after every game because you cant win them all.
we're fine.

In the scheme of things I'm not too scared either.
It seems all the Phillies wanna do is beat the Mets. Their crappy starting pitching and streaky hitting can't hurt anyone else but us it seems. Burrell can't hit off anyone but Met pitching. Anytime Jose gets on base they throw to first 5 times between each pitch. Why do they hate us so? You'd think all the NL East hate would be directed at the Braves who have dominated for a decade and a half before last year.
Anyways, even if we do get swept, we are still 2 up on these bums, and they'll get beat by everyone else like they do every year.
The most disturbing thing about this series so far is that the Mets seem to come out with no gameplan. It's like Jose and Wright have no idea they're gonna get jammed inside every plate appearance. And then GREEN pinch hitting with the game on the line? Some of Willie's decisions make me wonder.
I am honestly more afraid of the Braves, who have showed the ability to turn it on at the end of the season. our upcoming series with them is more important in my eyes, although it woulda been nice to knock Philly out of Wild Card contention.

Well part 1 of my worse nightmare is about to come true. Looks like we'll be swept in a 4 game series by the Phillies.
If the Braves follow with a 3 game sweep then that will be part 2.
Part 3 is we will not even make the wildcard.
All of this is very, very realistic. I'm a long time die-hard Mets fan but there is something wrong with this team this year and it has bugged me since spring training. They just dont have the fire they had last year.
