It's not going to be easy, although everyone is down on the Rams and up on us.

Starting a rookie WR, no matter how good Jackson is, is never strong.

Great start, 7-0 on a McNabb to B-West pass on the 1-yard line.

Stephen Jackson looks good though, he can make it a long day.

Samuel dropped an interception, which he really should have probably grabbed.

Defense looks a little shaky in the early going.

Yeah, we're also not running as much as I'd like to. Jackson made a nice grab, Samuels look's a little rusty, our line isn't bad thus far.

Five rush attempts through our first fifteen plays, vintage Andy.

Yeah, I guess it's good to see McNabb looks good, 14-0 early.

Great first half, 21-0.

I liked seeing Andy aggressive even in that last possession with just 30 seconds or so left on the clock.

I realize we're playing the Rams, but it's hard to not get overly excited about the Eagles.

Our linebackers look good, Samuel looks good except for dropping an INT or two. McNabb is crisp, Westbrook is Westbrook. Even LJ came to play.

It's nice getting a major contribution from our rookies Demps and Jackson (Jackson is the man).

Icing on the cake: Phillies up 6 - 0

Good day so far. :)

its quite good signs..considering the likes of Desean , Avant and Baskett will be going up against weaker recievers..

I know we scored 38, but I was very very impressed with the D!

Nice game thread and an even better win today. McNabb looked great and DeSean Jackson.... WOW! Has there been a better opening day by a rookie in the past 20 years on this franchise???

Anyone have any early predictions for next week? I got the Birds taking it 27-24.

I think the Cowboys will take it, but it'll be a good game. In the 20s.
