Harrison, Steelers Nearing Extension

NFL.com - James Harrison and the Steelers are nearing terms on a contract extension that could be finalized as early as Monday, according to agent Bill Parise.

Both Harrison's representation and the Steelers agreed to wait until after the Easter holiday to resume talks.

Harrison is entering the final season of a four-year, $5.5 million contract that he signed in 2006.

It's good news alright. It took a minute to get things situated between these two sides. At least they will talk more on the extension after the holliday come Monday. Just nip this in the bud Steelers.
