ESPN - Steelers wide receiver Limas Sweed injured his left Achilles tendon during the team's three-day minicamp this weekend.

Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin believes that the injury could be serious.

Sweed was hurt during a routine passing drill on Sunday and was taken off the Steelers' indoor practice field on a cart.

If his Achilles is ruptured, he'll likely miss the season.

It's unfortunate, but this young man is just never going to make it in the NFL.

yeah when i heard the news about it i didnt even care. hes not a factor and he has proven time and time again that he has hands made of stone. this type of injury dont even hurt the steelers hes unneeded.

Yea I doubt he would have even made the team this year if he wasn't hurt. Sanders and Antwaan can fill Holmes role better than Limas.
