Steelers Team Report:Pittsburgh needs more balance offensively: With Ben Roethlisberger back under center, the Steelers need to get the passing game going to complement their physical ground attack. Roethlisberger threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns against Cleveland, but it will be a tougher challenge on the road against a stingy Dolphins defense.
Pittsburgh's defense will be without run-stuffing end Brett Keisel (hamstring), which could open a few more holes for Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown. Williams needs 89 yards from scrimmage to pass Larry Csonka (7,425) for the most by a Dolphins running back. Williams had 12 carries for 31 yards against the Steelers in last season's loss. Pittsburgh has won all four meetings with Miami since 1998.
http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/nflprevie ... =301024015James Harrison returned to practice with the Steelers on Thursday after missing Wednesday’s practice over a $75,000 fine levied by the NFL for what the league ruled was an illegal hit Sunday on Cleveland wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi.
"I cannot and will not let the league office stop me from playing the game that I love," Harrison wrote. I am all for player safety and I agree that some of the rule changes that have been made are good for the game. As far as my situation, I believe the hit against Massaquoi for which I was fined was legal and well within the scope of the rules."

Dang, Big Ben and Wallace almost hooked up for a nice deep pass, but it went off of the finger tips of wallace.
Big Ben fumbles on the next play, 2 turnovers. The fish have the ball on the steelers 17. This is looking like it is going to be a long day.

Big Ben hooks up with Hines Ward for a TD. Hines did most of the work, he made a nice run after the catch to get into the end zone.
10-6 Steelers

Nice kick off return by the steelers (mid field), and on the next play Big Ben hooks up with a bomb to Wallace for 53 yards and a TD

Aaron Smith just walked off the field with an arm injury. He's not expected to return.

The Dolphins played a good drive on our defense. Thxfully the defense managed to limit the Phins to a field goal. 20-19 Steelers.

Woodley is out of action on defense now as well.
The Fins marched back down the field on us and pulled to within 1 again off of another FG

The Dolphins marched right down the field and kicked another FG to retake the lead
22-20 steelers
But, the steelers are marching right back down the field and are already in FG range. 1st and goal for the steelers on the 5 with 2:49 left to go in the game. We need a TD here. No gain, 2nd and goal. Timeout Dolphins.

I missed the last couple of drives. And you're right. The Steelers need a TD and they just got it I think.

That may be a fumble. If so, that's not good.

Big Ben just lost this game for us, damn.
they ran a QB draw he stretched out, but fumbled, the play was rule a TD, but replay clearly shows that it came out early. A FG would have put us in the lead, but now with a little over 2 minutes to go, the Dolphins will likely have the ball and try to run out the clock. That sucks, the steelers even had a lineman that could have recovered the fumble by scooping it up, but he didn't even try to get it. What a terrible outcome this is going to be.

Wow, did Pittsburg ever catch a break on the ruling, it was ruled a fumble, but they couldn't determine who recovered the football, so the Steelers get it back 4th and goal, the FG unit is in.
I must confess, I think the Dolphins got ripped off with that ruling, it sure looked like they recovered it to me. At any rate, the fins are now out of time outs, with under 2:30 to play. They have been moving the ball well, so this is far from over, but right now the Steelers are in the drivers seat.
23-22 steelers
