Schillings Bloody Sock

Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Thu Apr 26, 2007 6:54 pm

I didnt see a topic on this yet, but ESPNEWS is following this, and will have a guy from the baseball hall of fame talking about it on the hotlist later.

For those who dont know about the story yet, here is the article:

In my opinion, I dont know why gary thorne would lie, but I think he is. I just dont see schilling putting on a sock with paint on it, just to get the PR excited. Who knows though.

What I found interesting is, what if they find out it was paint? Doesnt mean anything bad to the red sox really. But does this have any effect on schillings hall of fame resume?

A, who cares and B, who really **** cares?

This was like 3 years ago and it was probably blood. The guys at the Hall even say it has dried brown like blood does.

Gary Thorne is (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Gotcha, I'm in agreement with you; my comments were not directed at you. Just stuff like this annoying when the media covers it. They play a game; it's not like some world-changing event that needs to be covered. It's a sock. It probably had blood on it. The end.

Also, this has no effect on Schilling Hall of Fame resume. First, it's completely insignificant and second, no one will remember it in 7 or 8 years when Schilling is up for induction for the first time.

Almost all Red Sox fans cared... Maybe not so much anymore but in the past you fans wouldn't stop talking about Schilling and how tough he was.

yeah...and Alexis Rios's batting stance pwns n00bz
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."

Not me. I don't really remember too many people mentioning it outside of the mouth breathers who chant YANKEES SUCK and the Boston media.

I loathe Curt Schilling as a person.

Don't care, amazing that the media does. Schilling's a jerk, he's excited as hell that the media is calling him a liar, he loves the attention.

Now it's number 1 on the wiretap. Ridiculous.
