Roethlisberger signs 8yr deal worth 102 mil

That's right. The Steelers resign QB Ben Roethlisberger to an 8yr deal worth 102 million. The deal keeps Roethlisberger to 2015. It also makes him one of the players with the highest deals in the NFL. Ben is a good and solid QB for the Steelers, but for 102 million? All I can say is wow. But what if the Steelers want to go after some key free agents to fill in some needs, but may not be able to get those players with the deal they gave Roethlisberger here. Will that slow them down a bit financial wise?

We did the right thing, now we need to get him a "big" receiver in the draft of find one in free agency.

LOL. Ben would like to get a "big" WR in the fold. Too bad they can't get back Plaxico Buress back with the Steelers. As for the signing, I know the Steelers did right in locking up Ben. I'm a bit concern with all of the money tied to him now may have some effect in terms of signing some contributing free agents for the offseason and beyond.
