Ward tutors Steelers' rookie WR Sweed

I am glad to see Hines is making good use of his time while recovering from surgery.
Still recovering from offseason knee surgery, Hines Ward has been reduced to spectator for Steelers minicamp.
That's not to say the veteran wide receiver has been idle during the practices that conclude today.
He has been giving pointers to rookie Limas Sweed, the Steelers' second-round pick in last weekend's NFL Draft, and serving as a de facto coach. It is a role Ward admitted that he might not have embraced so enthusiastically in the past when he sometimes took it personally if the Steelers used a high draft pick on a wideout.
