Terrific trade by the Phils. I think Iguchi will benefit from playing in Citizens Bank Park and they gave away nothing in return to get him. When Utley gets back their offense will be devastating.

Now if only they could improve their pitching... they could make a real run at the Mets. They've had some luck with some retreads... now they need to find more just like the Mets have.

I can agree with him benefiting from playing in Citizens Bank, small park.

Um, Taguchi was already pretty bad defensively at 2nd. Are they expecting him to move to SS when Utely's back? Good luck with that.

Why in the world would the Phils do that when they have Jimmy Rollins. I hope you were being sarcastic. BTW I think the Phils made a good trade getting Iguchi. I dont know how much of a hitters park Citizens Bank is but He will be a nice addition

Yeah, I kind of spaced out for a second. Okay, then where on earth will he play? He's below-average offensively for a 3rd baseman.

Who is the starting 3rd baseman for the Phils right now? Wes Helms? Abraham Nunez?
