Should be a good game. The two teams I follow most closely. Glad to see Gates and Ellington playing, just because I don't think injuries should play a big part in outcomes if possible.

Yeah, he definitely should have held onto that one.

Lucky to only give up a FG there. And I know the pass was overthrown, but I'm glad Jason verrett didn't make a dumb mistake.
Let's get our offense going!

Drops...drops everywhere. I mean it wouldn't have been a first but c'mon man. Well it's also his first game back from injury. Haha okay those are his only allowed mistakes

Nice big play for the first game as a rookie....a blocked punt? Nice.

Cards D is tough..so far we have 9 carries for 6 yards, and Rivers 50% passing for 54 yards. If not for a turnover and blocked punt, it could be a little ugly.

Their run defense was best in the year last year, but what's killing us is how little time rivers has to throw. It looks like he's had to rush a few. I'd like to see us go back to the shorter crossing routes.

Rivers is terrible at using timeouts.

We need a TD here, get the ball back in the second half for another TD, and this game could be blown wide open

I don't see Gates drop too many. He was rated absurdly low in fantasy this year. I picked him up in a few leagues. He is still Rivers favorite target. Hopefully he can start pulling them in. I have confidence he will.

Haha you're much calmer than I am

Gates is solid for sure.

Rivers is the WORST at clock management at the end of halfs and games. But of course he throws an int. I guess in this case the bad clock management is a good thing.

Ugh what a disgusting play. Eddie royal needs to go for the ball. It'd be PI on the D if he does. Game saving tackle by Woodhead though.
