Chargers@ Ravens
Does McCoy think its cute not to kick it through the end zone, or is Novak just unable to do so? Cause if its the later, than we need a new kickoff guy

Novak is unable to do so. His career long fg is 53 yards. It takes 65 to get to the end zone.
These mistakes are SO frustrating. I can't believe Weddle did that. Add that to the Fluker forced fumble and it seems we just try to take ourselves out of games at times.
Finally Oliver is in there though...they NEED to get him into open space......running up the middle with our line and good run Ds isn't going to do it consistently, no matter who is running it.

Yeah I completely lost it on Royal's fumble. It would be a much different game had we scored a TD on that drive.
Also, is Scifres able to kick it through the end zone? I don't know if punters ever kick off, but it'd be worth training him to do.
Our run game is nonexistent. And no we're on our 5th center? haha football gods just love the chargers

Re: Chargers@ Ravens
Well, this team was pretty resilient after boneheaded plays last week so I won't give up on them quite yet.
Plus if we lose, at least it also looks like Pitt, Cleveland and possibly Cincy will lose, and hopefully KC and Miami (though that one is unlikely).
Amazing we'd be winning right now if that drive was after holding them that drive (where Weddle had the penalty).

Re: Chargers@ Ravens
I was just about to bring up the other games. But it'd be so much sweeter if we could win with all those teams losing. Also, nice catch by Floyd to set up that run (with an uncalled PI call - defender's hand was insider Floyd's jersey the whole time).

Re: Chargers@ Ravens
I've never seen so many flags in my life. We need a solution for Wright. Between him and that dude we cut, they have cost us a couple games.
Bad thing about it is, Baltimore got a ton of flags on that play but it ultimately helped them, because they were able to burn more clock and still got a td. Even us stopping them on 1st and 2nd down allowed them to burn over a minute off the clock.

Re: Chargers@ Ravens
We've outgained them by over 30 yards too.

Re: Chargers@ Ravens
It frustrates me how Rivers doesn't seem to have a sense of urgency in times like this.
