man our special teams are playing SOOO well. But honestly, this creates a shorter field. Less time will be taken off the clock and perhaps we can hold them to just a field goal...?

can't tell if using the timeouts like this is smart. Honestly, I don't know how it should be done. I guess the biggest thing is getting a stop

Chargers may just want to kick it out of bounds on the kickoff.

Last two weeks have been frustrating and awesome. This team has had some resilience and come back to win twice...and they will need that confidence for the last four weeks. And remember Rivers always plays his best in December.

Our remaining schedule is harsh, but I considered today part of that harsh schedule. Solid win. And you're right, Rivers knows when to turn it up a notch. Let's hope the rest of the team follows suit.

I considered this part of the harsh schedule, and knew the Rams were not a push over either. The two games that looked the toughest to me were the road games against SF and KC, but they will probably be extra motivated against KC after losing to them, and SF could possibly be about to implode. They barely beat Washington and then looked horrible against Seattle. They could very likely also be fighting for their playoff lives too at that point. There was also news today about SF will look to trade Harbaugh after season.

Denver and NE at home don't really scare me. I know they will be tough, but Rivers ALWAYS gets up for Brady and Manning and he has that confidence back. I just SOOOOOO wish we had Verrett instead of Wright at that second corner position against great qbs like that. Weddle needs to float closer to Wright on pass plays and let Flowers handle himself. It sucks how often we lose our first round pick as a rookie for a season. Especially a stud like Verrett.

Great game. I think Shareece Wright is an awful CB. Even when he's in good position, he doesn't have the awareness to make a play on the ball.

We were pretty resilient to come away with a win like this.

Allen was huge today. As was Rivers and Flowers, who basically shut down Steve Smith.

We need to steal 1 game from the next 2 games to make playoffs.

Yea but Rivers is 0-4 in his career vs Tom Brady.

Funny thing is, if we win out we could get the 1 seed, though I think Denver would have the tiebreaker so they would also need to lose against someone else.
