DRAFT PICK TRADES WITH ATL!

Post#1 » by shagadelic45 » Mon Apr 21, 2008 1:32 pm

SD TRADES: #1, 2-#5's, #6, and #7 (whole 2008 draft)

ATL TRADES: 3-#2's

The Falcons move up to grab their franchise QB (Brohm) and gain some lower round picks.

The Chargers get 3 good picks in round 2 to either draft or trade for some established talent...i.e. Jason Taylor, Chad Johnson, Lito Shephard, Bryant McKinnie.....

I would love to make that trade because basically, you give up 27, and you get (something around) 35, and 2 somewhere between 45-60 i believe. So you move down like 7 slots, give up 3 2nd day picks and recieve 3 picks that are much higher than 3 of the picks you gave up, its sounds like a dream trade.

But you would have to look at the draft picks value chart to see if it's even. But just looking at it, i LOVE it. We will be able to get 3 impact young players instead of just 1.

do you know if it's fair according to the chart?

http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/pick_value_chart.htm

I'm not completely sure what the exact picks are, so i wouldnt be able to calculate it. Would you or anyone know the exact pick #s?

while the points don't match up.....the trade does accomplish alot for both.

ATL: as a team on the rebuild and with no answer at QB, they get additional picks AND move back up into round 1, where they can grab their franchise QB (Brohm, Henne, Flacco)

SD: as a team on the verge of a superbowl, they get the opportunity to add 3 players ready to contribute NOW (safety, corner, d-line, o-line, rb, and wr)

I agree, but it is a little too lopsided i think for the Falcons to accept.

Maybe we throw in a player, or we drop one of ATLs picks out of the deal..or both.
