I'll go with Nolan because he was here the longest. I also hear a lot about how poorly he treated Smith.

Easily Erickson. Nolan and Singletary at least had a decent defense and hovered around 8-8 at times. Erickson took a playoff team and threw it into one of the worst 49er teams of all time.
