New to the draft board.. but I would like the 49ers to draft him as the first round pick if available, does anyone else agree or feel they should target someone else..??

I wouldn't have a huge issue with drafting Jenkins. It looks like we are going with BPA since we don't have any glaring holes and Jenkins could be the best player at pick 30. We have some good depth at corner back but I think some improvement is necessary. If players like Brown, Culliver, Brock, and Cox develop then we are fine but if none of them can become a really good corner then we could be in trouble.

I wouldn't take him in the 1st for a number of reasons - he (apparently) kept smoking pot at N. Alabama, which makes me a bit leery of his supposed reformation, we have pretty good depth at CB, we have other, more pressing needs, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if we took him, since we do tend to gamble on high-upside guys with character questions (Moss, Cox, etc.) but it wouldn't be my first choice. If we're looking to grab a high-upside guy with character questions, I'd rather go for the mega-value play and draft Burfict in the 4th or 5th.
