Renteria better wear a full face mask the first time he bats in Chicago after this game. That slide was bush league. As bad as that picture is... watching the replays made it look even worse.

C'mon guys... I'm just as upset at the way the season has gone as the rest of you... but with all the nonsense that has been thrown our way tonight by the umpires... don't be rooting against us... or, more accurately, making jokes when we don't score runs we should score. We need this win tonight.

Glad to know the tomahawk chop isn't nearly as offensive to the American Indians as Chief Illiniwek was. I can definitely see a lot more respect for their lives and culture from a hand gesture than what U of I did.
