Goodell
Ravens


Either way they all look bad.

Goodell should still be fired or step down. I don't see how he has made the league that much more money. The popularity of the sport is so high right now that anyone could step right in and keep it #1.

Goodell has been the worst commissioner ever and the nfl still makes all this money.

Chances Goodell is forced to step down within 6 months?

Virtually nil.

Who can force his resignation? The owners, by threatening to fire him.

How do they fire him? 75% of owners (24) have to vote to get rid of him.

What would motivate them to do that? Losing money through sponsorship and tickets/merchandise sales.

So basically, the question should be

What are the odds this situation causes the NFL to be hit financially enough to force the league to take action?

The media won't let this go until he does.

I personally haven't been able to stand to turn on ESPN the last couple of days.

How did the world become more angry towards Goodell than Ray Rice...

Ray Rice isn't serving any punishment becuz his wife won't press charges. So someone has to pay right?
