I would like to add Fangio right behind Kap.

You guys forgot Ward. And the pass rush

I blame Fangio for the pass rush.. Can't bring 4 every time and expect pressure..
Ward I think was put in an awful position by the coaches. he was not drafted to cover big, strong, #1 WR.

You're probably right, but they shouldn't have drafted him in the first place, and i think there are a few on here who would agree.

Why are we basing this off of one game where he had to cover a top 10 receiver when he is suppose to be defended slot guys. I blame for the coaches for not switching up the CB's

To be fair he is a rookie and he was playing against Marshall who has 6 inches on him I believe. Not sure why we didn't put one of the bigger CBs we have on him in the slot instead of Ward
I said on FB thats Ill give him this one, but if this becomes a constant theme, i dont know. I wasn't so sure of the pick and i hope Im wrong. But man, he sucked today. On top of that we have to deal with Cully in the house and his craptastic gluteus Maximus on display
Ward also looked very weak vs that blonde guy from dallas last week

We'll see how he fares. I ll give him this game, but i dont like what i see. Also it's not just one game, because as Cal pointed out, he struggled against blondie from the Cowgirls last week.

And speaking coaching vs. personnel, did Carradine get a single snap? We couldn't get any pressure, and I'm not sure he set foot on the field.

Baalke is an average GM. He's been very good at times and terrible at others.
My sig from Poopla is/was that Baalke sucks at drafting in late rds... so far so true
Gotta wonder about the early ones as well - AJ confirmed, Ward a question mark and perhaps Vance, who looks nowhere as good as Carrier.

CalamityX12 wrote:That sounds right... I would even take Dontae over Ward right now... Johnson looks to be promising, not a shutdown of the league but a very reliable guy....
