I had forgotten we didn't score on the drive where Gore's TD was called back for the bogus holding call. Man, that turned out to be huge. Such BS. Officials have been awful this year. Plenty of well-deserved penalties in that game, but for the second week in a row, also some absolutely crucial, terrible calls.

I thought this was interesting.

49ers in the 1st half have outscored their opponents 45 to 10.
49ers in the 2nd half have been outscored 3 to 35.

Two games in and I'm already seeing a trend.

Include last year's final game, and it's 55 to 10 in the first half, and 10 to 65 in the second. It's a bit odd, as under Kap early on we started out slow and then came on in the second half. It would be nice to, you know, play well for four quarters.

Why would we do that, though? We don't wanna make things easy on ourselves.

Where are you getting these numbers?

55-45 = 10 Niner points. 10 - 3 = 7 Niner points - 10 + 7 = 17. Ok, that looks like NFCC.

10 - 10 = 0 Opponent points. 65 - 35 = 30 Opponent points. 0 + 30 = 30

30-17 Who is this? It's not the NFCC. Or Week 17.

I added 30 instead of 20 in the second half. It should be 55-10. Math was never my strong suit....

So you are talking about the NFCC game and the first half should be 55-13. Right?

Yes. Functional thought also a weakness of mine these days, apparently.

I think this game turned when Charles Tillman was injured. Everyone underestimated the ability of the rookie Kyle Fuller, but he showed the world that throwing in his vicinity is a bad idea.

Meh. They were TERRIBLE throws/decisions by Kaep.
