Lemonade may be Parys 2.0.... Watching him and he doesn't have the speed to go around the corner(against the bears OL for gods sake)....

Lynch is clearly more disruptively than both Brooks n Lemonade and that's surprising to me.

Brooks has been awful in rushing, playing coverage or tackles for loss I think he's been fair.

This is where we need to put in some blitzes and maybe that could free up for a sack and **** generate pressure. But Fangio won't do sh*t about it.

Seriously, you drafted him in the 2nd rd for a reason right? lol

Play him, what's the worse thing that could happen?

I didn't like that Dial didn't see the field again after the penalty... that was some bullsh*t IMO...

Very strange they hardly used Dial and Tank.. Makes for a very tired Cowbowy and Ray at the end of the game....

Bingo_AlphaMan wrote:Corey Lemonier is so ineffective as a pass rusher based on my assessment. Sorry Sick but he is. Tyron Smith is one of the young upcoming great OTs in the league, but C'mon... He absolutely manhandled Lemon in last week's game toying with him. Lemon was not only pathetic as a pass rusher, but he also played below average against the run - unable to seal the edge on running plays allowing Murray to run wild.

The kid looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane.

Have to agree - I didn't follow this kid much at Auburn but after hearing some of us rave about his skills, I thought this guy was a quality pickup by Baalke. However, through 2 games and even part of last season, I'm not impressed. He's not even as fast as I thought he was based on his college film coming off the edge.

So far, Lynch is the more disruptive of the two and even better than Brooks, who also is lackluster. And I'm with you guys, play Tank and Dial more if you have to reduce the PT of TJE, Dobbs, Brooks, and Lemon.

From CSN BA:

3) Lacking pass rush: The 49ers have not been able to compensate for the loss of Aldon Smith. Second-year outside linebacker Corey Lemonier, the team’s pass-rush specialist, has not gotten any pressure on the quarterback.

Lemonier also was penalized for illegal use of hands to give the Bears a first down on a third-and-9 play. It might have been the most costly of the 49ers' 16 penalties. Chicago scored a touchdown on that drive to pull within 20-14 early in the fourth quarter.

Jay Cutler generally had all kinds of time to throw. The 49ers will likely continue to find more playing time for rookie Aaron Lynch, who has provided more pass rush than Lemonier.

Veteran Justin Smith had the 49ers’ only sack. The secondary held up pretty well, except in the red zone, where nickelback Jimmie Ward was exploited for three touchdowns in man coverage against Brandon Marshall.

I read an article on Niners Nation a out Lemonier being a one trick pony, point taken, although granted, the entire pass rush is non existent.

Tank continues to not play - Im getting tired of this.

There's nothing questionable about our current pass rush

No fangio just got by on talent of the front 4. Now we are old and short handed. Fangio is not used to this.

He is struggling dialing blitzes.

Brooks and Lemon have provided absolutely nothing in terms of pass rush. We discovered yesterday that blitzing causes bigger problems. Until Aldon returns and or Brooks decides to play up to his abilities we are pretty much ****. I feel for Fangio. He is playing Lynch for **** sake.

it just seems that our dline has no first step. They seem flat footed. No explosion. That includes lemon head and brooks. Now, Willis got to Stanton and made the sack once, but the refs screwed that up big time. Ian gets no push in the middle of the line. Maybe he isn't 100% yet, but missing Dorsey is huge IMO.

Offense is another story. First half we look like we are unstoppable. Then second half comes around and..... We seem to always run the quick routes like short curls, and teams start jumping them. Can we not do a double move? Also, Pozz pointed out the lack of WRs improvising when Kap scrambles. Why doesn't this happen? Bad play calls at bad times. I watch some great play calling, then it goes to ****. Is it Kap adjusting at the line? Or Roman being to cute? Martin sucks dick. If he makes that block for Hyde, Hyde might still be running. We need Davis back. How long does it take to realize a teams plan is to blitz up the middle? How often did the cards do it yesterday? Yet we did nothing to adjust for it. Is that on Kilgore? Iupati is playing horrible. No way he should get big money.

Like others have stated. Where's Tank? Others are not getting it done. What could he do worse?
