He was the first person I thought of. Brandon Jacobs was second. Everyone else on the team has a role and plays it. LMJ IMO has a bloated sense of his abilities but I don't see how he could consider himself as better then any of our RBs. He acts as if he is owed something and I, for one, am happy he's gone.

I knew the Fins picked him up, but I thought it was on the active roster. How does James still have PS eligibility?


When they increased the PS roster to 10 this year, they relaxed the rules on the two new spots. I don't know exactly what they are, but a lot of players gained PS eligibility.

(read this a couple days ago otherwise I wouldn't have remembered it.)

James still has practice squad eligibility under an NFL rule change in August that allows for each team to carry two players who can have up to 32 games on an active roster over their first two NFL seasons. James appeared in just 14 regular-season games in two seasons with the 49ers, but his 10 games active in 2013 would have previously made him ineligible for a practice squad.
