I heard my guy Johnathan Hankins looks like a terror now that he's starting for the VaGiants. Wish the Niners traded up for him from Vance's spot last year.

yea I just watched the play. Arians is a douche. Good coach, but he's ridiculous with this crap.arich35 wrote:imac_21 wrote:Bruce Arians called the chop block on Calais Campbell "the dirtiest play [he's] ever seen." Didn't he say the same thing two weeks ago about Wilhoite's hit on Stanton?
Sounds like a big baby. The block on Ian Williams last year was worse and cost him the whole year.
Thomas' block on Campbell wasn't even that bad.

Watched the Seahawks/Redskins game. Didn't think Seattle looked all that great. D was good but their offense was very average

Keep in mind the Hawks had 3 Tds called back from flags on explosive plays. All Percy harvin lol.
It was again wilson and lynch doing what they do however. Lynch just never goes down and always grinds those yards out. Wilson if contained in the pocket can be stopped however when your chasing him around you always have to keep an eye on the RB or WR escaping and getting open.
They can be stopped just always have to play sound defensive football.

Didn't think this deserved its own thread:

Hands down the silliest thing ever posted in a bleacher report article:
Despite intense pressure from a stout Washington defense...
Bwahahahahahahahahaha. Would that be the 26th scoring D you're referring to? The one that allowed 82 points in the two weeks before playing the Hawks? The one that, if we eliminated the game against Jacksonville's incompetent offense, would be allowing 31.5 PPG, better only than that awful Jaguars team? Is that the stout defense you're talking about?
I mean, forget all of Wilson's other accomplishments. It's this game, when he looked very uncomfortable in the pocket and basically relied on running, short throws with YAC, and broken-play bombs to account for all his damage, that proves he's great. Were we watching the same game? I mean, you've got to hand it to Wilson for largely carrying his team on a night when his OL was downright bad, but I don't see this game as doing anything to secure his status or legacy. At all.

I am just not convinced Wilson is a great QB if you can keep him in the pocket. Granted his OL has never been all that good, but if you prevent his scramble drill, he has trouble stringing together drives.

What a load of crap. Wilson is not elite. How often did the Hawks start with great field position. If you keep him in the pocket, he is much less effective. And for all crap Kaepernick gets about having happy feet. Wilson is also known to get happy feet and leave the pocket prematurely.
