Agreed. This is one game where the INTs don't bother me all that much. It's not like playing it safe was working. When it was 13-0, I sent some friends a text: "Might as well be 100 the way this offense is playing." And it was. The offense is among the worst in the league despite a ton of talent on paper. Someone needs to be accountable.
I'm glad York apologized. He should. I was at the game - for free - and I feel like I got ripped off.
How is the stadium? Is it loud at all? It is really nice, but it seems like it has zero homefield advantage.
I like the stadium. It's clean, modern, spacious, good views of the field. And I thought it was pretty loud at times, but I'm probably not the best to weigh in. I've seen probably 4-5 games at Candlestick, 4-5 at Qwest, and now one at Levi's. It seemed comparable to Candlestick. Definitely not as loud as Qwest, but that's not gonna happen because of the architecture.
The crowd did seem to "get it," quieting down for the offense and getting loud for D. In that respect, it was probably better than recent games at Candlestick.
Well at least they are learning. I went to the game vs the Dolphins two years ago and they had a video of Staley pretty much telling the crowd to be quiet when the Niners have the ball and be loud when they don't.
