Trent Baalke may have issued an apology to Greg Roman for his daughter's tweet, but the damage has already been done lol. And how might have Cassie Baalke come up with that? Perhaps by overhearing her dad talking about it around the house. If I was Roman I would re-sign. Not defending Roman by any means, but he needs to go either way, and this is the perfect reason to leave on his own.

There's been a lot of, "Baalke should have a firmer grip on his daughter." Ratto even proposed that it shows a lack of control on York's part. Whaaaa? Cassie Baalke is 19 years old. She's a college basketball player who is in season right now and almost certainly was not home for the Thanksgiving holiday (she has a game in Minnesota today). She may have heard her dad doing some grumbling at some point in the past, but more likely she's been watching football her whole life and came to her own, reasonable conclusion that Roman is no longer effective as an OC.

I agree. And I also agree with York's tweet. So why hasn't Roman been fired or resigned yet? He is not the only problem, but it's a good start. Other obvious problems are Kap's inaccuracy and poor decisions at times, and the lack of a deep threat at WR. This team lacks a true No. 1 WR- it has a bunch of nice No. 2s with Boldin being the best among them, but it needs a 1! Even when we had Randy Moss at that age, the defenses still had to respect the deep threat game. Not anymore they dont. And oh yea, where is Vernon Davis been?
