Did Schef just say the futures of both Harbs AND Kaep would be determined after the season?

On ESPN insiders they talk about the Kaepernick thing. They said that a new coach most likely would not like Kaepernick's play style and would use a more pass based offense which is not Kaepernick's strong point. That he would fail and be benched or traded during next season and be another RGIII. That they would then use a high pick on a QB in the 2016 draft to replace him.

They also have an article where they say that the 49ers are preparing to go with Mangini as the new head coach after this season. That the reason he failed with the Browns was that he did not have enough experience. He was only a coordinator 1 year before getting his head coaching job with the jets. He was with Baalke with the Jets under Parcells and they both have the same mindset how a team should be built and what they should do to win. Baalke is positive that Mangini will be the next Bill Belichick now that he has knowledge about offenses too being the consultant on offense and the TE coach. I mean look at how well those TE are playing and his consulting on offense has been outstanding. They also say that Mangini is the reason for the Harbaugh/Baalke feud. Baalke wants him on the staff and Harbaugh wants him gone.

Like I said before, don't be fooled by Kaep's contract numbers. He's moveable.

Trading him last offseason would've been a dream come true. Trading him this offseason would be waking up from a nightmare.

I am not buying into the Mangini HC thing. I still say Tomsula.. I also read they could decide to bring in an outside coach who is offensive minded - big name coach too. But who?
