I believe Lynch had 15 yards at halftime? No? If so, he had 72 after halftime (until this final drive) and 54 of that 72 came on the first and 2nd drives of the 3rd quarter.

fixed... lol

sure the offense has been a joke once again man but come on, they played with effort finally & tried. gore went down & then hyde who was clearly our mvp on the offensive end, lets not forget losing celek and also being weak at the tight end position...that call clearly changed this game in the worst way, it's not even funny. even the commentators went on a huge rant about it. disgusting man, just disgusting

And to cap it all off, my **** fantasy team, which ended the season with seven straight wins (highest score four consecutive weeks, second highest score twice I think) is going to lose this week unless Ingram outscores Murray. Son of a bitch.

ive been crying for a NT upgrade... dont gimmie Ian or Dorsey, we need to upgrade that...

WR will get retooled big time IMO

Why not Ian? I like hearing opinions on him. Is it just too much of an injury risk at this point for you?

Also Pozz with Justin's in game impact going down due to age n wear & tear, we need a new monster from that DL and I think we can do our team a real service by upgrading at NT with a true force...

if there's any to be had...

( i have Shelton in mind all season, but Goldman is rising for me but can play either DE/DT i think)

What do you do/who do you target in FA as of right now? Are the returning players at the RB and NT position not enough in your eyes once they get the horses back?

Clearly, we are still a very good team and we should not be thinking about "rebuilding". We are all aware that we are in a win now mentally because we have the pieces in place to make a run...! Whomever we add this offseaoson to play NT will be a backup player to Dorsey. The thing is we cannot count on Ian Williams ever being an impact player for us. Thus, if Dorsey gets injured again in '15 we are screwed in having to play Q as our NT again next season. That would be unfair to Q because his best position is at the end spot, not NT.

As far as the RB position is concerned, Gore can no longer carry us during the season. He is not what he used to be! You know, that sneaky weapon we had that carried Alex Smith for so many years. He is not the same player that is skilled enough to carry Kaepernick and that offense. His skills as an elite runner has deminished and we need to act fast. Either we get the Seahawks' left over in Lynch or we make a move for AP. If we can't add any one of these two backs then my plan B would be to land Duke Johnson in the 3rd round, or Gurley in the 2nd round (Duke would be my preferred choice with the later pick to team up with Hyde and IMO they would compliment each other very well). My plan C would be to sign CJ Spiller to team up with Hyde. Again, our RB position needs to change. New offensiver coordinator would know how to run screen plays for CJ and Hyde.

With our first round pick I would focus on that difference maker at the WR position - DGB as my first choice and Cooper as my 2nd choice. I would put faith and trust that our young corners would continue to develop well enough to be considered potential starters for us. Same thing with our TE position...I would gamble that Davis and Vance both will be in better football shape and not attempt to sign any players; but Clay and Cameron would be tempting. I think Nick Failey would be a cheap addition for us too and we would be foolish if we choose not to look into him. He, Tank, RayMac would give us a nice front to rotate. And he is more suited to play the NT position in certain downs more than than Q, so in essence Fairley would give us more flexibility to do what we want in terms of scheme wise.

Goldman is a force against the run with regard to shooting gaps once in a blue but most importantly when asked to set the edge on a consistent basis. He is not good moving laterrally and players like Russel Wilson would have a field day with him. Therefore, he wouldn't be my first choice as a DE. Shelton is not elite IMO but he wouldn't have to be when you have Willis and Bowman playing behind you.

We had more RBs than we knew what to do with before the season, same with CBs...injuries are a bitch

We should have drafted Isaiah Crowell when we had the chance. That should have been a given honestly. The kid was too talented not to take a chance on in the 7th round.

Shelton started strong and tailed off a bit however he can push up the middle with the best of them IMO. He can hold his own and give his LBs plays to make.... He's no slouch...

He's definitely not a slouch player. I would welcome him but he will go in the late 1st round IMO out of our reach. If he were to be there in the 2nd round when we pick, that selection would be a no brainer IMO. Texas' Malcom Brown IMO is a better player than Goldman, this is coming from an FSU fan.

Oh yea 2nd rd is where we would have to. If he rises by the draft then I think we should consider moving for him or wait on someone like brown from Texas or Phillips from ok later on.

That game was a perfect rendition of our year: good first half, great D, bad blocking, confused QB, big mistakes, a few key bad calls on penalties. Same ole same ole.

Needed: a new OC and a new WR coach. That and our own hospital wing. We have had good luck on injuries the last few years, made up for it this year. Lets hope that karma works and we can stay healthy next year.
