Cardinals leaning towards starting Logan Thomas this week

And so it begins. As I've said to so many acquaintances since he left school, he could be a home run type addition but his floor is really low, too. He can't prove that in one week in his very first game but it just adds to the nightmarish season and it's a big shot to my heart that his career could begin against the 49ers.

Darren Urban:

Arians: No final decision on QB but leaning on starting Logan Thomas.

Arians: If Thomas starts, he would be on short leash. But I want to find out done things about him. See him with full week of practice.

Arians said if Thomas doesn't practice well, that could change things. "That's the first hook."

Drew Stanton will practice some this week.

Arians: No one will be held out as precaution this week. "We are playing to win the game."

Arians said Larry Fitzgerald is still only about 70 percent with his knee.

We may actually win a game regardless of who starts.

Classic high ceiling/low floor player. I was super high on him early at Virginia Tech but he could never quite develop as much as I thought he would. Definitely has all of the tools though, and he could be really dangerous down the road if developed right, agreed.
