@AdamSchefter: 49ers set to promote DL coach Jim Tomsula to head coach, per sources. Still ironing out details, but Tomsula expected to be 49ers next HC.

All I'll say is this, they're promoting someone over people like Fangio and gase and Bowles that appear to have the respect of people in the league. None of us have any idea if they're right, but I'll say that after firing Harbaugh and considering the other candidates they damn well better get it right.

Barrows said he heard of a possible interview from last week. He couldn't get a confirmation.

Unreal of a down fall we have had in the last year compared to how great things looked a couple of years ago. How the hell could this team be messed up this bad so quickly?
