He's a beast. Bonifide #1 receiver in the league, granted he didn't lose a step or two from that gruesome leg injury he sustained last year. I'm not convinced he's back fully healthy. Let's wait and see. At this point I'm going to give the edge to Melachi Dupree as the best receiver in the SEC (by default).

Watch out for my Noles' George Campbell. A true freshman, but man he's electrifying and fun to watch. Looking forward to watching him dominate in these next couple of years.

Ole Miss junior WR Laquon Treadwell (ankle) is expected by the coaching staff to be completely healthy for the start of the season.

Treadwell dislocated his ankle and broke his fibula against Auburn late last season, a gruesome injury that is burned into your brain if you've seen it. Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze said Tuesday that the star receiver should be fine by the start of the season. Treadwell had 632 yards and five touchdowns in nine games last year before his season ended.

"He is coming off a nasty broken ankle against Auburn this season, so his recovery and long-term durability prognosis will be closely monitored," McShay wrote. "But when healthy, Treadwell is a big (6-2, 229), explosive athlete with the physicality and leaping ability to win jump-ball situations." Rotoworld's Josh Norris also slots Treadwell No. 13 to the 49ers. "Treadwell is coming off of a major left leg injury suffered in November," Norris wrote. "He is very good at creating a sliver of space in the final moments of a route to separate."

CBS Sports' Rob Rang ranks Ole Miss junior WR Laquon Treadwell as the No. 10 underclassman draft prospect.

The low ranking is, you've no doubt surmised, injury related. "Must prove healthy after suffering an ugly leg injury (broken leg, dislocated ankle) in November but has all the tools to be an No. 1 receiver in the NFL when healthy," Rang wrote. Colleague Dane Brugler recently wrote that Treadwell "has a Dez Bryant skill-set with his size and athleticism combination to be a mismatch against cornerbacks on the outside."

Ole Miss junior WR Laquon Treadwell checked in at No. 7 on Mel Kiper's first big board.

"At 6-2 and nearly 230 pounds, Treadwell, has size, speed and tremendous hands," Kiper wrote. "He was unquestionably the best WR on the team as a true freshman, even with Donte Moncrief still around. And while his season was cut short in 2014 due to an ugly injury, Treadwell should be 100 percent in the fall. If he stays that way, he's got the potential to be a first-rounder next spring."
