LOL, what a homer. I know Seattle is very talented team on defense, but to rank their offensive line best in the NFL West? What is that guy smoking?

Re: NL West Oline Rankings
Pat Kirwan is a national writer. It blows my mind that he would have Seattle ranked #1 for OL. Seattle should be in the running with Rams for the worst OL in the division, at least until their new guys have shown anything whatsoever. Their OL is the clear weakness of the team.
The Hawks had a mediocre (generously) OL last year, and they lost their starting C (their best OL when healthy) and their best OG. Okung is good when healthy, but he's injury prone and not in Staley's league when he's on the field. JR Sweezy is not very good. Justin Britt was a rookie last year and showed some growth, but at the end of the day he wasn't particularly good and really struggled in pass blocking. And those are their "proven" guys. They're going to be plugging in two guys with poor pedigree and little track record. If it weren't for their elite RB and extremely elusive QB, the OL would probably be a laughing stock week in and week out. It's the clear weakness on Seattle's current roster.
Even with question marks at LG and to a lesser extent at C, and with Boone and Davis apparently holding out, I can't see ranking the Niners lower than #2. Staley is the best OL in the division. Boone and Davis have played at a pro bowl level as recently as 2013 (which is part of why I can't understand why they wouldn't get their dumb @sses into camp), and Kilgore played well before he got injured. Marcus Martin struggled last year but should settle down and play well this year. Thomas has more talent than any of the young guys Seattle is looking at starting. As I see it, it's clearly between the Cards and Niners for the top spot, with the Hawks and Rams clawing for third. At least until the games start.

They have a ton of talent on defense and have a talented QB and RB, but oline? They could easily be the worst OL in the NFW West next year. The 49ers should be No 1 or No 2, with Arizona in the other spot. That isn't saying alot in this division.

Re: NL West Oline Rankings
Kirwan must've hit the sauce before he hit the air with those rankings. Wilson and Lynch bail that line out so much it's not even funny
Unger was arguably their best lineman that they shipped off to the Saints so they are likely worse this year than last year barring some young guys stepping up big.
9ers O line right now has the potential to be the best but right now is unproven.
Staley is Staley, Davis is good and but wasn't healthy last year, and Boone started terribly but bounced back strong to end the season.
Thomas has potential to be a stud at G and he should (hopefully) be better at pass pro than Iupati.
M. Martin has the physical tools but I believe he just needs experience and some seasoning. I mean he was drafted at age 20 and is currently 21 so he's still pretty young and has room to grow.
