LOL, is the second one for real? Hard to believe. If so, that guy needs to seriously get a life. It is just a game. He is watching grown men getting paid millions of dollars to play a game. He needs to chill

Who's #21 on Seattle?

Based on the number and what I can make out of the name, I think it's Julius Jones, the RB before Lynch. Kind of odd jersey choice....

Funny, I almost made a post today saying he should do just that.

He should pay the taxes for it. A lot of times, people skip non-cash prizes because of the taxes involved.

Brady probably wouldn't have been interested in that truck, probably has a fleet of exotics.

Undrafted rookie may be able to use a new truck but he'd have to pay a chunk of taxes on it.

If Brady receives the prize and flat out gives it to him after that, Butler would owe no taxes. Brady would owe the tax. Receivers of gifts don't pay taxes, gifters are subject to a gift tax beyond an exclusion amount. Butler would have to register the car and pay whatever is associated with that.

But if the car is never received by Brady, as in refusal, I don't know if Butler can accept it and if he does, he may have the prize tax.

Yes, I'm not using real terms in prize tax, but you know what I mean.

I figured it out. Pozz is Bellichick.

"There has been a lot of criticism that I don't think is anywhere close to being deserved or founded," Belichick said Tuesday during his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI in Boston. "That football team is very good, very well-coached, and Pete does a great job.

"Malcolm and Brandon [Browner], on that particular play, just made a great play. I think the criticism they've gotten for the game is totally out of line and by a lot of people who I don't think are anywhere near even qualified to be commenting on it."

Great time to be a 49er fan living in Seattle, just glorious. I've never seen a game where they had the game won and truly made the worst play call in the history of the playoffs and just blew it. And saint Russell threw the int, people here are so bummed I almost feel sorry for them, it's twenty thousand times worse than our super bowl loss because they had it on the half yard line with Marshawn Lynch!

I imagine they are taking it harder than we would have. The whole 12th man thing. They seem to think they are a part of the team and are more emotionally invested.

I don't think it's that. I'm not sure I've ever met a Hawks fan who was more personally invested than I am in the Niners, and I lived in Seattle for 2006-2012. They just seem to think they can't lose, so when they do they're in an utter state of shock. I said this above, but due to the type of fan I am, I am constantly terrified we're going to lose. Watching those guys in the video - not the TV smashing one, but the others - appear to believe that they are fated to win, and so it's almost like their reality is crumbling when they don't.

If it wasn't clear already, this video tells me that it was all the OC's call. It appears that Pete asks what the play is right before the interception is made. Now, of course, he is still responsible for what they do, how they practice, and getting prepared for the situation. The strategy wasn't thought up in that 30 seconds.

Basically what we talked about. Since Brady is not receiving it, he doesn't have to pay the tax, but Butler will because he is getting it directly from the dealer/prize-giver. Great way to show appreciation - here, you pay the taxes Butler (instead of paying the taxes from his millions and giving it as a gift). Still, Malcolm gets a car for less than its worth.

Yeah Brady would not even miss the taxes money.
