Not crazy about Dallas, but anywhere is better than Seattle.

The loss of Aldon is going to be felt so much when the season begins...

I'm remembering those games where he was flat out unstoppable... good lord... bring him back! lol

Assuming Aldon could have regained his old form. Supposedly last year he was in the best shape of his life. When he did play he wasn't generating much pressure and didn't look good in one on one matchups. Could have been due to rust from the suspension but we'll never know whether he regains his old form

Aldon Smith at 80% is still better than half the starting defensive ends in the league. Just hope the kid gets his life together.

Last year Aldon only had 2 sacks in 7 games. That Aldon isn't worth all that much. I am not saying I didn't want him on the team because I do and was hoping he would rebound this year. But Aaron Lynch can easily produce Aldon's 2014 numbers.

Beyond the sacks, Aldon was stout on the run, great at setting the edge.

SO he was more than a pass rusher. Not sure the younger players are in the same category. Heard Simon may be quick but may not be physical.
