Trade confirmed. PFF had him ranked his preseason play high. Good deal. Can't be any worse than what we have seen so far

The coaching staff must have seen enough of Looney. This guy is just a backup right now to Martin. If Martin really struggles, who knows, they might give this guy a shot until Kilgore comes back.

A win win for both teams as the Ravens flipped an UDFA for a pick and 9ers obtained an upgrade to the woeful offensive line.

Even if he doesn't start it sounds like he might've just become the best backup on the team now and from the things I've read he's just a victim of a logjam at the position.

It's pretty amazing we are still cobbling together a line at the tail end of camp......

It gives the team some flexibility as they could move Martin to RG if Devey struggles or if Easton is too good to keep out of the lineup.

Kilgore could go to RG as well if both Martin and Devey struggle or again if Easton is too good to keep out of the lineup.

And if Pears continues to be terrible they could put Martin or Kilgore at LG and move Boone to RT but I don't see that scenario being likely as the team seems bent on keeping Staley and Boone together.

I saw that. Maybe it only preaseason but many of our lineman graded out pretty crappy so that right there is an improvement.
