Did POP Tartt play more snaps than Ward? Sure seemed like it.

For the 100th time, Mike Davis is better, but Hyde is a good RB

I have the 49ers going 8-8 this year, not because I think Kaep will light the world on fire, but I really like our defense and knew our run game will be effective

1z, you're one crazy fellow. Even though I don't like Mike Davis, I want him to dress up for games. Just in case. Bush, one of my fav 9er is always hurt. Hayne, I don't trust him enough. He's not a true RB yet. Which means Davis could come in handy later on in the season when it's time to ease some of that workload of Hyde.

LaMike James could have ran left and went over 100 yards last night. The 49ers dominated upfront. The Steelers have a better front seven, we'll see who's the guy if Hyde and Davis do a time share at RB.

Tartt is a stud! During our Monster League FF live draft (chat room), I commented on how much I like this kid. He's a phucking baller.

Armstead needs to get on the field too. I was impress with his play as well during the preseason.

Lets see how Tartt does in coverage. I'm sure teams are going to try to isolate him and see how he does, the way the Rams went after Dion Bailey, Chancellor's replacement.

Honestly, I almost wish we'd go to a three safety set sometimes instead of Skov or Wilhoite ever having to cover the TEs or RBs. Our LBs covering receivers is my number 1 defensive fear.

The one thing I hated about those unis is you couldn't tell who was who. Pitt is gonna have a helluva time studying tape this week. Between all the new players and no way to tell who folks are that may actually help us.

yep, on offense it was easy to guess who each player was based on race or body type. The big white TE is either celek or mcdonald. Light skin RB is Hayne, Boldin is the bulkiest WR and I can tell him by how he moves, but beside Bowman and Lynch's white sleeves there was a lot less to distinguish the defensive guys by. I couldn't tell the DB's apart most the time.

I kinda liked our team of no name replacements.
