Don't get me wrong, I'm not sure if Reaser would have caught up to the play, but when he turns up field to attempt to catch Vereen, that's some hold Weston's got there...

I was on the other end of the field but I couldn't believe that OL had blocked a defender without a hold being called. Mind you i'm watching from the back...

Now I see this... **** that was holding!!!!!

Yes, the foot was still injured when he was drafted. That same foot injury coming out of college basically cost him his rookie year when a screw inserted from the first surgery bent and he had to go on IR.

some of Baalke's picks are head scratchers. Drafted Tartt so where does Ward fit in if he isn't a corner. Armstead might turn out to be a good player but don't quite understand going dline with the first pick. Seems like Baalke is drafted players in 2015 to replace some players he made mistakes with in 2012-2014. Otherwise why would he be drafting safeties and tight ends.

Well Bethea when we signed him, a lot of people thought he was over the hill including myself. No way we could have even begun to imagine Bethea being our best safety on the roster by this point. At most I thought he was a stop gap until Jimmie Ward learned the defense enough to play. Then you have Eric Reid who has a history of concussions, so that plays a factor as well. Tartt looks like a potentially special player, I don't mind being deep at the safety position when our safeties are so versatile. Against the Giants, Tartt was basically playing LB with Ward in the slot—our defense actually looked far better in this alignment than it did with Bow or Wilhoite were in getting beaten time and time again by their man

Ward was drafted too high. There were other players who would have been a better pick at that slot that filled a bigger need.

Teddy Bridgewater, but we were on the cusps of a championship—on paper at least and we didn't even come close to sniffing the playoffs. Going Bridgewater may have changed up the mindset entering the season.

My Lord. He was in perfect position on that play. I'm not sure he could've done anything better on that play outside of getting his hand up .25 seconds faster or to the right/left a hair. That's just Donnell being Donnell and Eli being Eli.

Agreed. People don't seem to understand that you can do everything right and still get beat due to the other guy making a better play. That's just football.

QBs are 21 of 22 with a 135.2 passer rating against Bowman this season. Please reassess who doesn't understand here
