New Regime

Cant get a new owner unless he sells.

But York can and will shift the blame to Trent and Tomsula for the wretched season.

First a new GM, I know nothing about any of these new candidates but they cant be as bad as Trent. The 2012 draft was plain awful and now the 2011 draft of Aldon and Kaep could be his downfall. JJ watt was available at the time Smith was drafted and now Dalton looks like a better QB than Kaep. And what was the deal with Kaep working with Kurt Warner on his mechanics and now saying mechanics dont matter as much.

New coach, would love to see the Niners dip back into the college ranks and pick up another Stanford coach in David Shaw. But Shaw can see the endless amount of bs from this current regime and will stay away.

Jed has to go first, that is job one. Daddy won't do it? Well, then are screwed until he does. Kick Jed upstairs, give him new fancy title and a raise, put him in charge of hot dog vendors only. I think he seriously impacts the field of candidates who would consider coming here to work, and not in a good way.

Yeah when you set conditions that your future replacement (Tomsula) needs to be on your staff it's hard to attract quality candidates. Working under Balke is losing proposition too.

Not that I feel bad for him for the money he gets, but I kind of feel bad that if he really wanted to be a defensive coordinator and felt he would be better at doing that and was thinking that was the path and then no one came here because of him and then he got a job that he was in over his head for. At that point, he can't really turn down the job, not only because of money and because of the lure of being a head coach, but he could also not go somewhere else and be a DC.

Baalke wanted Dalton. Harbs wanted Kap. Kap did not work on his mechanics with Kurt Warner. It was Dennis Giles.
