And thinking about it we do get caught up with our passion of sports we just don't realize that if he does go work with youth and kids that have troubled upbrings like he did he could be saving lives out there by helping kids become productive adults and not give into despair and turn to a life of crime. If someone didn't step up and help him when he was a kid we wouldn't even be having a Patrick Willis discussion right now.
So still bums me out as we're a worse team without him but it does make me feel better he'll hopefully be out there making a difference in people's lives.
I'm glad there's still fans in this world who have this perspective when it comes to athletes.
Exactly, I've seen some people say that he could do this later or in the off-season, as if the children in need only need him in the off-season or that he should only help children in a few years and let these years' children go without what he's doing. I mean, if he didn't have the passion to help them and he had the passion to play in the NFL, I guess, but to suggest him to go against his passions because those needy children can wait or go without? That our team is more important, for our entertainment? Also, money is not a factor here for him.
