I don't think Blaine is a franchise QB, but he seems to have matured since his days at Jacksonville. with the Jags he was a deer in the headlights and looked like tebow passing the ball, but he has defiantly improved.

Well this could be one of those moral victories the front office points to, since the Cards are one of the top teams in the NFC.

So they keep Tomsula and staff and they get to develop whoever is drafted with that high pick.

I'm really impressed with Blaine....he's not a HOFer but he's really exposed how overrated Kaep was.....his athleticism made him shine at times but he's not the long term solution. A great team around him his a lot of his deficiencies.

I'm sick and tired of this shoddy ass officiating. Roughing the passer my ass. Pete morelli has been in over his head for a while now.

How is the officiating not being held accountable? Even they don't even know what to call a catch these days.

The Roughing the Passer, the missed delay of game and the offensive Pi on Mcdonald all were indefensible blatantly horrible calls 1 of the pI calls in the offense was downright horrible, and their were a number of raise your eyebrow iffy calls.

Roughing the passer call was ridiculous. So was the PI call on McDonald. Great game by the defense, especially compared to last week when they couldn't stop a mediocre Seattle offense. Ward is not a nickel corner. Can't keep up with speedy WRs. Ward needs to be at safety. Purcell looks good too busting through the line and disrupting plays like preseason. He deserves more playing time. Really nice game by Gabbert and the offense. Like Draughn too. Gabbert made some really nice plays. Just gotta work on 3rd down plays. Was 0 for 7 for a time. Gotta let the receivers get to the sticks. Only thing Gabbert doesn't seem to do well is throw the deep ball. The ball to Torrey was well underthrown otherwise that six. But I like his playmaking ability.

This season is lost and no need nor incentive to play him if he has a high risk injury lingering.
