According to Schefter the owners approved this starting in 2017.

I'm sure Baalke did back flips when he heard the news.

He's going to have so many picks in the 6th and 7th rounds to take Safeties and Tight Ends now.

Baalke prefers first and second round safeties... can never have too many

Or we can package them all for a punter. You can't draft too high or too many of those. Preferably an injured punter.
