Baalke is actually only signed through 2016. So either he goes after the season or they extend him. I doubt Baalke goes into 2016 as a lame duck. Maiocco indicated a few weeks ago that Baalke is acting like he will be here, otherwise why would he be stockpiling draft picks for someone else?

Our front-office/organization has turned into a complete and utter cesspool. Clean house. Tomorrow. The only one worth keeping at this point is Tom Gamble.

Just an embarrassment on all fronts. I guess it all wasn't Harbaugh's fault, right Jed?

Let's clean house in 38 minutes, it avoids the press a bit. Midnight.

I think he does go into 2016 as a lame duck and 16 will be a make or break year for his job.

Jed was promised a retool not a rebuild so with Kap and Marathe already falling on the sword it will the heat will turn up on Baalke and Tomsula now.

Yea, I can see your point too...So what is working in Baalke's favor thus far? The 2012 draft? Lol obviously not...At the time, it didnt matter because the 49ers were so talented and deep. But fast forward to 2 or 3 years later and that 2012 class is rearing its ugly head...What about 2013? Eric Reid is a solid starter. Quinton Dial, for a 5th rounder is great value considering he starting. And it's great that Vance McDonald is starting to show his talent. If Tank can start producing now that he's being repackaged into a 4-3 DE I think Baalke will be in good shape. 2014 draft class is too early still, but Hyde when healthy has all the makings of an All Pro RB, and Aaron Lynch is a 5th round steal. Need more production from Ellington and Martin. And Jimmie Ward I believe was a reach. Lets say Bethea gets cut and they choose to extend Reid, where is Ward going to play? Challange Tartt for SS job? Dontae Johnson and Kenneth Acker are looking good.

Wake me up when Jed is gone. No one else matters, as Jed will screw it all up anyway.

LOL, well if you believe Kawakami Mama York is upset with the state of the team. Hopefully, she'll get fed up at some point and decide to take some sort of action in the FO

Only Mama York? If they are not all upset we have even bigger problems.

Jed might be upset at losing games, but he is the one running show so I wouldn't expect anything out of him. On CSN Bay Area this morning Matt Maicco thinks Baalke and Tomsula will be back this year. I am afraid if the 49ers continue to win upcoming games that will more likely be the case.

Momma York was giving Tomsula a hug in the locker room after the win.

The Yorks value loyal employees like Marathe and Tomsula over merit.

And with the gobs of money they're making, they are in no hurry to bring in strangers they night not get along with.

Would be nice, they're probably hoping Ellison throws $3 or 4 billion at them, then they can get away from this abuse.

Problem with Ellison is his personality/ownership style might be like Snyder's. He seem to really like basking in the success of winning the America's Cup. But if he doesn't win ...

Unfortunately, that Ostler piece only gives false hope to people. It isn't based on anything other than speculation. Wish it was true. Sorry to put coal into everyone's stocking this year.
