And allllllllllll the misconceptions about Chip and the systems he's favored in the past are going to be a blast. :noway:

This whole thing will be a lot of fun for me. Chip is a blast and one of the most misunderstood coaches in the last two decades that I've studied. He has a WHOLE lot of growing up to do as a coach off the field. In many ways so did Shanahan. Hopefully this appeases Gamble in some way, shape, or form so that they can hold onto him for as long as possible.

Where is Sick? We ought to tie him to a chair and force him to watch Kaep play for the foreseeable future

With Kap likely staying I guess he wasn't this big sticking point like the bay area media drama queens made him out to be.

Pozz I think Kellys can be a good coach...I think he has a great football mind. I worry that he won't change his communication style. I also worry that both he and Baalke both have strong personalities and will clash.

If I have misconceptions about the football side it's possible I'm not a fan of his offensive style. Not saying he's wrong or I know more. His offense when it's working as planned is fun to watch. If he gets the right defensive coordinator then I will be happier. I am a fan of the power run game and a defense that imposes it's will on the other team. same with the running backs like Riggins, Jim Brown, Gore, Walter Payton and Lynch that one cut and go hit people. I'm old fashioned that way. I think Chip is a high risk high reward coach. I can see him taking the Niners to the playoffs next year as easily as I can see them in number 1 draft pick contention. I don't have an issue with him strictly on the football side think he's solid on that. I have concerns with personality and communication style clashing and hurting the team in that manner.
