2016 NFL SCOUTING COMBINE
So Keith Marshall won a million bucks? He was wearing the Adidas shoes and had the fastest forty...
I guess not. He needed to beat CJ2K's time as well.

Re: 2016 NFL SCOUTING COMBINE
I didn't get a chance to see his forty but I saw Ramsey's and other players. Anyway, I don't agree with Mayock there. I saw the drills. Hargreaves looked so smooth and natural. Even Deion was impressed. Away from Hargreaves topic a bit, but William Jackson, is a first rounder for sure now. He killed it...!!! Steelers and Panthers have a lot of options in the late first if they're really interested in getting themselves a potential shutdown corner. This year's cornerback class is an awesome group.
Vernon Hargreaves III - DB - Gators
Despite Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves's lackluster forty showing at the Combine, ESPN's Todd McShay still believes he's a top-10 talent
The analyst pointed to Hargreaves' broad jump (10-foot-10) and vertical jump (39 inches) in praising his exceptional lower half power for a diminutive prospect (5-foot-10, 204 pounds). "While I saw a little tightness in his hips during drills, Hargreaves' excellent ball skills and exceptional foot quickness were on display for talent evaluators on Monday," he wrote. "The best pure cover corner in this class, Hargreaves has the quickness and fluidity to play man-to-man coverage at the next level. Even though his 40 time doesn't line up, I still think Hargreaves is worthy of a top-10 pick."

Re: 2016 NFL SCOUTING COMBINE
Eli Apple - DB - Buckeyes
Ohio State CB Eli Apple ranked No. 7 among defensive backs with a 4.40 40-yard dash.
"He has the height NFL teams are looking for (6-1), but he occasionally gets outmuscled for the ball with his 190-pound frame," wrote ESPN's Todd McShay. "Apple played a lot of press-man coverage at Ohio State, and while he needs to improve his technique and ball skills, he shows pretty good instincts on tape." ESPN's Kevin Weidl reported last week that Apple had "generated a significant amount of buzz within scouting circles" because of his work sticking to speedster Will Fuller in the Fiesta Bowl. Clearly, he carried that over and perhaps amplified the enthusiasm surrounding him today, though Apple did quit while he was ahead and skipped the vertical and broad jumps. "Overall, Apple's performance helped solidify himself as a top-five cornerback and a fringe first-rounder," McShay wrote.

Re: 2016 NFL SCOUTING COMBINE
Again, maybe it's me but I didn't really see any tightness. Will have to watch the combine workouts again this weekend:
Jalen Ramsey - DB - Seminoles
Florida State DB Jalen Ramsey "game and athleticism compares favorably to Patrick Peterson," believes ESPN's Todd McShay.
"If you're looking for the best overall athlete in this class, Ramsey just might be your guy," McShay declared after Ramsey's dominant Combine performance. At 6-foot-1, 209 pounds, Ramsey posted a 4.41 forty, a 11-foot-3 broad jump and a 41 1/2-inch vertical. McShay did have one nit to pick. "In the position drills, he showed a little tightness in his hips and just average ball skills," he wrote. "I think there's a four-man top-tier in this year's class -- Ezekiel Elliott would make it five, but positional value hurts his case -- and Ramsey makes the cut."

Jason Spriggs - T - Hoosiers
Indiana T Jason Spriggs, who ran the best 40-yard dash time among offensive linemen at 4.94, was the most impressive OL at the Combine according to Pro Football Focus.
The 6-foot-7, 307-pounder also paced the OL field in broad jump (9-foot-4), logged the second-best short shuttle (4.44 seconds) and placed fourth with 31 bench press reps. More important for his evaluation, Spriggs was sensational over the past few years. This past season, he finished No. 10 among draft-eligible offensive tackles in PFF's rankings with a pass-blocking grade of +6.6 (allowing only three sacks, three hits, and six hurries on 542 pass-block attempts). "Spriggs was the best moving tackle at the Senior Bowl last month and his performance in Indianapolis solidified what we’ve seen on tape and in person," Pro Football Focus' Steve Palazzolo wrote. "While we like his overall potential as a player, and his size and athleticism may push him into the mid-first-round mix, but he still played more like a second-round prospect last season."
