Colin Kaepernick - QB - Free Agent
According to NBC Sports Bay Area's Matt Maiocco, teams are concerned about free agent Colin Kaepernick's vegan diet and his commitment to football.
NFL teams are simply coming up with excuses. It would be more respectable if they just came out and said they don't want the PR nightmare or simply don't believe Kap is good at football. This same exact vegan excuse was used last year when Kaepernick's weight dipped, but that was more due to him not being able to workout because of shoulder, thumb, and knee surgeries. Tom Brady, Arian Foster, and Tyrann Mathieu are three highly-decorated vegans in the NFL, and Brady has long said he's in the best shape of his life since going on the diet. Regarding Kaepernick's commitment questions, he said after the season multiple times that he's committed to the game.

Re: The Colin Kaepernick Thread
I think Vegan plays a big deal into it as well....
LOL @ Foster... decorated no more.
Tyrann has been injured
Brady doesn't do anything but throw the ball, so lets not act he's lighting the world on fire with physical play

Heard the Jets owner vetoed signing Kaep, because he's conservative and is big into the flag thing.
But also Kaep may be asking too much.
