Well the TD pass was nice but would be an "off schedule" play since he had to flush out of the pocket to buy more time.

Of course coaches want to see throws out of the pocket, on-time.

Thing about Bethard seems to be that he processes more slowly and then when he has to throw it, doesn't throw with the best velocity, to give the receiver a chance to get YAC.
