JOE WILLIAMS CONTRACT

Hi guys. Just hoping someone can answer a question for me. Since the 49ers placed Joe Williams on IR it means he did not accrue a season correct? It also means that instead of 2021, he will now be a FA in 2022, right? I know they made a mistake in the past with Tank Carradine but activating him from PUP and then placing him back to IR and that triggered an accrual. Thanks

He's on IR all season getting full pay so it is an accrued season. I think 6 games is the minimum needed on IR to accrue.
