Suh is probably expecting another 8-figure salary but he's getting up there in years. He could be like that guy who went from the Titans to the Redskins on a huge playoff contract and didn't do squat.

Who do you like in the class?

I haven’t studied it.

But Seattle ran pretty well on that expensive Rams DL. Maybe if the Rams offense doesn’t run up big leads, their run defense with those two stud DTs isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.

Even when he was at Detroit, they were gashed by teams on runs despite all the hype around Suh when he was drafted.

Niners are going to have like 70+ million in cap space. Nobody is too pricey.

Suh already got stupid money from the fish, and he's still playing at a high level (and was in Miami). I wouldn't put it as likely the Niners go after him, but there are plenty of options at DT.

Ideally, Niners draft Nick Bosa and trade up from the 2nd round to draft & take DT Christian Wilkins. Sign Andy Levitre and a CB, and that's starting to look like a team.

That’ll instantly make Lynch the best GM in 9ers history if he was able to pull that off.

Who is there to spend it on?

Depending on who re-signs or not...

Ezekial Anzah, Demarcus Lawrence, N. Suh, Sheldon Richardson, former Shanny guard Andy Levitre, Leveon Bell, Ronald Darby, Bradley Roby, Clay Matthews (SAM), Brian Orakpo (SAM), Dante Fowler Jr, Frank Clark, Mychael Kendricks...

Isn't Clowney a FA?

The Rams' LBs are a liability. Who would have thought losing Ogletree would actually hurt? Niners aren't going to beat them, but they are beatable.

0% chance Clowney isn't franchised. Technically yes, but no.

The Rams defense has been surprising bad to me this year. I expected them to be more a dominant unit this year but thus far it is their offense winning in shootouts.

Well considering they have nothing at end and Talib is out and Peters gimpy... Not surprised.

Have to admit that I thought he was just an OK prospect (and I thought Aaron Donald was a good one, but not great). :noway: Oops.

You have to wonder though. Every OLB the Chiefs have had has done amazingly. How much of that is the D-line? One guy I was screaming for the Niners to draft was Allen Bailey, and Chris Jones is doing great (as Bingo pointed out).

I know they have to go one-on-one at OLB, but I always get suspicious when a team churns out greatness at one position over & over again.

He’s the smaller style that has the explosion and bend. The one traight you either have or you don’t. There isn’t a soul on our roster who even sniffs that. :(

Kareem Hunt is a free agent. Obviously huge baggage but younger, cheaper, better than McKinnon.

Someone’s going to pick him up and play him after the suspension.

Cowboys would if they didn’t have Elliott already but still may.

Hopefully Everson Griffin and Justin Houston get cut. The more the merrier.

So I see the Wiretap headline at the top that Sherman expects the 49ers to pursue Earl Thomas.

Hmm, I don't think Thomas would sign a very team-friendly deal like Sherman did.

I don't know the Cowboys' cap situation but that's where he wants to be.
